Information We Collect

We collect nonpublic and public information that is personal to you such as your name, address, social security number, income, present and previous employment, assets, other credit relationships, and property information.  This data is normally gathered from the following sources:  Applications that you complete, forms that you complete and reports from credit bureaus, appraisers and employers.

We collect your personal information once you voluntarily submit a loan application to us.  We will ask for a drivers license to prove your identity.  The types of information we collect will depend on the loan product you are applying for with us.

How We Use And Share Your Information

We use the information you provide to process your loan.  We may also provide certain information to others when the law requires it.  For example, to prevent fraud, the information is subpoenaed or to comply with a request from a government agency or regulator.  Seaside Mortgage Corporation does not sell its customer information or any non-public information.

We maintain electronic, physical and procedural safeguards to limit access to customer information.  Only employees who need the information to perform their specific duties and responsibilities.  Seaside Mortgage Corporation trains our employees on how to protect our customer information.  We also incorporate policies that prohibit the unauthorized disclosure or use of that information.

All visitors to the Seaside Mortgage Corporation website will remain anonymous unless applying for a mortgage or otherwise choose to disclose your identity to us.  We may collect certain information about our visitors such as: Their IP address, the web browser used, the city, state and country and the date and time our site was accessed.  Our website may provide links to other companies. Please be aware that when you choose to use a link or visit another site, you are then subject to the security and privacy policy of that site.  Please do not provide them with any personal information before reviewing their privacy policy.
